The rules for using MemeParrot: who may use it, the consent you give for every photo, the AI-generated label on every video, credits and accounts.

These terms govern your use of https://memeparrot.com ("MemeParrot"). By using the site you agree to them. Contact: support@memeparrot.com.

Who can use MemeParrot

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use MemeParrot.

What MemeParrot does

MemeParrot makes short AI videos of you in trending memes. You pick a meme and upload a photo of yourself; memes with more people take up to 2 more photos, one per person, each of an adult who agreed to be in the video. Some memes also take a photo of your car, or let you pick one of our own AI-made cars instead. An AI video model then generates a new video of those people (and that car) in our own AI-made remake of the meme.

  • Every meme on MemeParrot is our own AI-made remake with fictional AI characters. No frame or person from the original video is used, and we do not name the people in the original videos.
  • You cannot upload a video or audio of your own, and there is no text prompt.
  • Memes with a voice come with the meme's audio. Your own voice is never recorded or used.
  • Videos are generated by third-party AI services we contract with (listed in our Privacy Policy); MemeParrot is our own product and is not made or endorsed by those providers.
  • MemeParrot is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the people in the original videos, TikTok, YouTube or any meme account.

Before every video you must tick a box that says:

These are my photos to use, and everyone in them is an adult who said yes.

We store the date and the exact wording you agreed to with each video. By ticking it, you confirm that:

  • You took the photos or have the right to use them.
  • Every person shown, in any photo including a photo of a car, is you or an adult who agreed to be in this video, and you can show that they agreed if we ask.
  • Nobody shown is under 18, a public figure, a celebrity, a politician or an influencer.
  • The video is not sexual, violent, hateful, harassing or otherwise unlawful, and is not meant to make people believe a real person said or did something they did not.

If any of this is not true, do not start the video. You keep ownership of your uploads. You give us a limited license to process them only to generate your video, run content-safety checks and deliver the result.

Prohibited uses

The full list of prohibited content, how moderation works and how we enforce it is in the Acceptable Use Policy. In short, you may not use MemeParrot to:

  • Create sexual or sexually suggestive content of any person.
  • Make a video of anyone who did not agree to it.
  • Impersonate, defame, harass or mislead about a real person.
  • Depict minors in any way.
  • Infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights.
  • Get around credit limits or content-safety checks, including by creating multiple accounts.

We may block a generation, remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules.

The AI-generated label

Every video MemeParrot makes is AI-generated, and we label it that way: on the site, in the file name of every download, and in the video file's own metadata. You agree to:

  • keep that label, and not remove or hide it;
  • say the video is AI-generated wherever you post it, for example by turning on TikTok's AI-generated content label or using the equivalent on other platforms;
  • never present the video as real footage of a person or an event.

Generated videos

Subject to these terms and to the rights of the people in your photos, you may use the videos you generate, including posting them on TikTok, Reels, Shorts and other platforms. AI output can be imperfect or unexpected; review every video before you post it. You are responsible for how you use and share your videos.

Credits and payments

  • Credits are bought in one-time packs. There are no subscriptions and no free trial.
  • Each meme has its own price in credits, shown before you start: 50 credits for a short meme, 100 for a longer one and 150 for the longest multi-shot memes.
  • Credits do not expire, have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
  • Credits for a failed generation are refunded automatically.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe, and charges appear on your statement under the name shown at checkout. Prices include any sales tax or VAT.
  • Refunds for purchases follow the Refund Policy. If you dispute a payment, the credits from that purchase that you have not used are taken back.

If you believe content generated with MemeParrot, including a meme's audio, infringes your rights, email support@memeparrot.com with the details. Rights holders can ask us to remove a meme's soundtrack or use a different one. We review and act on complaints within 48 hours.

Availability and changes

We may change, pause or discontinue features and memes. We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page shows the latest version.

Disclaimer and liability

MemeParrot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
