What is the Check One Check Two meme?
The Check One Check Two meme, also written check 1 check 2, is one shaky handheld take in a dim, wood-panelled room. It opens on the front row: a man with a copper-red top knot and red beard in a green track jacket and a woman with short bleached hair in an orange puffer jacket, both mid-shout, with more faces half lost in the dark behind them.
About a second in, the rapper swings in from the side and takes the whole frame: a bald man with a black goatee and a small gold hoop earring, in a hot-pink satin bomber jacket over a white t-shirt, so close to the wide-angle lens that his face bends at the edges. From here he raps straight down the lens with wide eyes and raised eyebrows, leaning in and out under a single warm light, while the front row nods along, soft and blurred over his shoulder.
At about 3 seconds he jabs a finger right at the lens, huge and blurred in the foreground, then pulls back and keeps going, tilting his head from side to side, eyebrows up on every line. In the last second he drops his eyes, lowers his head and turns away as the take ends. There are no cuts: the camera stays this close from start to finish.
People post it when they have something to say and want to say it to your face: a hot take, a comeback, a loud announcement to the group chat. The closeness is the joke, the lens makes every raised eyebrow look huge, and the reveal after the front row is half the fun when the face that swings in is yours.
MemeParrot's Check One Check Two AI video follows our own AI-made recreation: the rapper and the front row are AI-generated adults, nobody from the original clip is in it, and the song is never included.

Photo tips for the Check One Check Two meme
- One person in the photo, never a group shot.
- Facing the camera, with the face sharp and clearly visible: focus matters more than the outfit here.
- Daylight or good indoor light, and no heavy beauty filter.
- No sunglasses, hats, masks or hands over the face.
- Only you, or an adult who said yes to being in the video.
Common problems and fixes
- A photo was refused: we check every photo before making anything, and photos of children, public figures or unsafe content are turned down. Pick another photo of an adult who agreed.
- The face does not look like me: use a sharper, front-facing photo in even light. Side angles, small faces and filters give the AI less to go on.
- My face looks stretched: that is the look of the trend, a wide lens held very close. Your features stay yours; the closeness just exaggerates them.
- I cannot find the sound or it is out of sync: in TikTok tap Add sound and search "Check One Check Two" (on Instagram Reels it is under Audio), then start it at its beginning so your lines land on the beat.
- The video failed: the credits come back to your account automatically, and you can try again.
